Did I mention I am having a great birthday? Because I am, it might be one of my best birthdays so far, and I have had pretty brilliant ones. I have always loved celebrating them and this year is no different. I came back from Portugal feeling amazing, and my actual birthday was spent chilling with my mum at home, cooking and watching The Big Lebowski. I love that film, I have seen it a hundred times, but I still crack up laughing like it was the first time. Now I am off to Prado del Rey to visit more friends for more fun and good times.
The other highlight of my birthday was coming up in a handstand and staying in it on the beach. I have been working on my handstand practice for a year now, and I had made a goal at the end of last year that I would be able to stay in a handstand on my birthday this year, and I did. It still needs a lot of practice – mainly trusting I can do it every time –, but I was well happy with myself.
